Products

Vacuum mixing plants from 1 to 10,000 litres.

Every range works on the same principle: agitating, scraping and homogenising under vacuum. That is what keeps formulations transferable from the laboratory to production.

LEXA-MIX vacuum mixing plant

How it is built

Three tools in one vessel.

A counter-rotating agitator keeps the product moving, PTFE scrapers keep the heated wall clear, and the rotor-stator homogeniser in the vessel base does the actual dispersing.

  • Double jacket for heating, holding and cooling
  • Vacuum powder feed — no lumps, very little dust
  • Conical bottom 30–60° for complete discharge
  • Frequency converters on all drives

Cleaning
CIP and SIP systems with documentation
Automation
Process control, recipe management, batch records

Homogeniser

The pre-mix chamber makes the difference.

A pre-mix chamber sits immediately upstream of the rotor-stator. Raw materials are pre-dispersed there in the turbulent field before they reach the shear gap. The result: smaller droplets, a narrower distribution and considerably shorter batch times.

The technology is protected by 17 patents in the EU, Germany, the USA, China, India and Brazil.

  • Droplet size d50 from 10 µm down to 0.35 µm
  • Tip speed 25–32 m/s
  • A stable dispersion in a single pass
  • Drive power 5–55 kW
